Chocolate Chip Blondies

Go ahead, drool all you want. And I know you want to.

Yes, they're probably loaded with calories and fat and carbs but when they look this good, who really cares?

Ok, now for the recipe:

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter (melted works best)
2 eggs
1 bag of chocolate chips

Spray brownie pan with Pam or any non-stick spray.

Preheat oven to 350*

Add cake mix, butter and eggs. Stir until mixed. Fold in chips. Pour into brownie pan.

Bake for about 30-40 mins. I originally set the timer for 30 mins but ended up leaving it in for a little bit longer. I guess it depends on your oven. Just keep an eye on it. :)

Easy peasy.

Serve them cold or hot with ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup!

  2. Deanna, they were amazing! I took them to work the other night and the were demolished within a few hours (and there wasn't that many of us working 3rd shift!) I think next time I might try white chocolate chips and maybe throw in some Macadamia nuts. Double Mmmm!
